agent needed A.S.A.P I need help. We have "specialized rare" vehicles (14+) and "muscle bicycle" props (6ish). Most of these props are very rare and have been restored meticulously to represent original state ( with a few exceptions). All of our props are in excellent "working" condition. We live in Southern Mass. and offer all of our props for film, stage, t.v., and print. Here is my issue. We just got a request for two of our vehicles to be used in a "major" feature filming in Boston area at the end of this next week. If any of you live in the area you understand the current weather situation. There is now way we will allow these vehicles to be used in such bad weather conditions. Not to mention there is no way we will let these two particular cars work for $150. a day and the driver/attendant of cars (myself) get $100. a day. We all know a "days shoot" can last up to 16 hours or more. So, my dilemma is, how do i handle the wage part of the issue, I don't want to offend them, but it is clearly explained with each individual vehicle that "very few" of these certain cars were made in the first place. Im talking about cars that are 1 of 2000 produced, 1 of 377, 1 of 302, and 1 of 117. Now im new at offering "props" for use, but if your going to offer $150 a day for a mid 70's run of the mill car, should i shutup and take the same wage for our "TRUE AMERICAN CLASSICS" that are unreplacable or am i IN NEED of an agent. please help me JOSEPH J. WIESE thank you in advance!!!

You will not offend them by stating your concerns and your price. They may turn you down but no professional will be offended that you will not rent out these vehicles at $150/day. From the last sentence of your post you come across as angry and (dare I say it?) offended. Don't be upset or offended when asked to work (and rent) for less than your quote. How do you handle the wage part of the issue? You tell them your rate. If they tell you they can only afford $150/day a polite, "Sorry, but those vehicles are not available for that rate." is professional.
