Screenwriting : Have a script that may make for a good comic book or graphic novel? by Eric Mullarky

Have a script that may make for a good comic book or graphic novel?

I am a small comic book and graphic novel publisher who is starting to look into new projects to tackle. Already have a screenplay that could make for a better adaptation in the comic medium? Feel free to contact me at eric@newbabyproductions.com. I am most interested in the horror and sci-fi genres. Thanks!

Hi Eric I do have a concept I am working on, but don't have a finished script. I just wanted to touch bases with you so I don't lose contact and follow up when I have something tangible to work with. My original concept was supposed to be Still motion Graphic Novel to a Music/ Audio Soundtrack that can posted to Youtube, Vimeo ETC. Any Input is much appreciated Sir.

Eric Mullarky

Sure Robert. Feel free to reach out when your script is completed.

David Levy

I have a sci-fi/superhero script I have been putting band aids on. I need to rewrite some parts of the script so the characters feel less 2 dimensional. I've had some say my concept could be a great graphic novel but I feel it might be better suited for the small screen!

Eric Mullarky

Maybe Michael. Send the synopsis my way and I will take a look.

Kerry Douglas Dye

Did you post this one on ISA? I sent something via ISA to a similar query and got a pass. Let me know if that was you before I hit you up again with my genius horror/sci-fi that would make an awesome graphic novel. :)

Cherie Grant

My friend and i were looking at doing a graphic novel together. I would write and he would illustrate. I'm fortunate in that he used to illustrate for DC/Marvel etc. But he's become unwell and it has taken a back seat to my other projects for now. Though i suppose I should try writing a bit more of it until he can illustrate again.

Eric Mullarky

Yes, Kerry, I did have this on ISA.

William Martell

Eric, tell us what you want us to send you (as specific as possible). You posted this elsewhere, and I didn't know if you wanted a logline or a synopsis or a full screenplay. Much easier if we know what to send to that email address. Thanks!

Jean-Pierre Chapoteau

I have a ton of horror and Sci fi shorts that can be converted to graphic novels. Did you only want features?

Eric Mullarky

William, I prefer to start with a logline and synopsis. And if I am interested, I'll request the treatment. And if I am still interested, I request the screenplay. Jean-Pierre, at the moment I am only interested in features, as they are easier to adapt to full graphic novels. Thank you.

Shawn Speake

@Eric. I sent you an E about THE DEAD ONES. Marketing materials and feature included.

Shawn Speake

Thanks for the timely reply, Eric. Good business is a good look. Good luck with your project.
