Introduce Yourself : My name is Paul Atherton by Paul Atherton

Paul Atherton

My name is Paul Atherton

Dear All, Having had the good fortune to meet RB at the Raindance Film Festival 2015 I felt I should join this fabulous community. I'm foremost a a Film & TV producer, but I'm currently working on a year long project in 2016 entitled #UniquelyLondon. Starting with a small exhibition of my life in the Museum of London as a launch pad for a series of events and films promoting London to its inhabitants and the world at large. There are 1,000's of things that can only be done in London and I'm a fan of them all and want to share my passion with the world. In so doing hoping to save the city from the current vandalism of developers and homogenisation of multinationals that is being a real threat to the history, beauty & multiculturalism of the worlds greatest city. For fun, I give bespoke tours of my city to anyone asking, under the guise of https://twitter.com/LondonersLondon Look forward to meeting everyone. Best wishes Paul Atherton

Welcome to Stage 32, Paul!

I think that sounds fantastic! I love visiting historical sites whether it's a large building or a small cabin or a field.....I love hearing the stories and picturing them happening in that very spot. I find it to be all so fascinating.

Hello :)

Debbie Croysdale

Hi Paul, I too was at Raindance, (the last half of festival sadly, due to getting sunstroke out on location Sierra Nevada, but it was well worth attending the tail end.). It was great being part of your conversation group, we all had with RB, in the quintessential London ale house. I remember you guiding us there, I didn't know you did "Special Walks" and will certainly hook up for a guided tour when I have guests over from Singapore next year. I love your enthusiasm for your City, and will definitely try to get over to the museum when I've finished my tasks in Norway. There is so much to do in London that is free, aswell as the usual ticketed venues, that people also need to be aware of. I have some photos of gatherings with RB but sadly this I pad I'm using won't upload them to Stage 32 web page for some reason. Welcome aboard Paul, I'm sure I have a lot to learn from you about London, and I'm also very interested in your reading material, ideas and eclectic projects. CHEERS! Debbie.
