Hi Melissa. Your views regarding honest feedback do need to change if you wish to progress and improve . Going easy on someone to avoid hurt feelings is counter productive and will do more harm than good. Someone who is brutally honest would be a great fit for you, as long as that feedback is delivered in a polite and respectful manner.
Oliver, I disagree, and I have my right to approach screenwriting as it feels is most beneficial to me. I'm not asking anyone to go easy on me. I just don't see any need for brutal honesty. If that's what you feel works for you, then by all means, embrace that. You also have a right to approach this in your own way. This is no one exact way to do this.
