Hi there John! Awesome to meet you, welcome to Stage 32. I'm a 15-year-old aspiring film composer in New Zealand, and I'm looking for opportunities to start building a good portfolio of projects. Do you have any recommendations for how I could go about this?
Sai: Finish school. Make lots of friends while in school and cultivate them for a lifetime of friendship. Included in that: Majoring in music in as great a college as you can afford to (and are accepted to) attend. Composing lots of music. Also taking some film classes and business classes. Then consider getting into this industry at that point.
