New to Stage 32....inquiring about everyone's experience with listing your loglines on the site? I've come across a few others that allow and/or encourage you to list your logline and info on their site. I don't know the standard method on this step in the process? Have people had success in networking and making contacts? Thanks !!

Hi Kristy. I've had my loglines posted here, as well as my specs that are copyrighted. I haven't had any movement from any of them, so, what's the point? I don't know...I just keep hoping some fabulous producer might magically come across them and think I'm brilliant and pay me millions of dollars for the right to turn them into movies that everyone will love. Stage32 has WAY more to offer than that though, so check out the 'Happywriters' options - a real treasure trove of webinars and pitch dates and coverage options.

Kristy - Networking; to what end? Let's start with building a serious Hollywood career - networking in these various forums ain't gonna do it. Hollywood networking is best done face to face - it's a very personal business where no one is hired off a resume. Networking for the indy filmmaker world works well in these forums but be very selective and try to make connections with only those with whom you can actually work with - be prepared to bring something of value to the table. Networking just to build up a fat contact list works very well in these forums. It may make you feel good - but you can't pay the rent with contacts. Most everybody in these forums have had success with making contacts - but my question; To what end?
