Where do I go next? What am I doing wrong?

Hey guys, So I started an indiegogo campaign for my Batman fan series.  So far I was able to get $100 but that’s all.  I started posting on my Facebook page, twitter and Instagram but no responses just likes.  Other  filmmakers successfully get funded over these kinds of projects and I don’t understand how they do it. My goal is to make $10,000 mainly because I have to be able to afford locations and so on.   I’ll leave a link to the indiegogo page as well as the teaser trailers that my crew and I put together What do I do next guys?:

Hey there Erick Moscoso ! Good to see you here at Stage 32. So, I've worked with a lot of fan crowdfunding campaigns, and it's a tough one, since you have to be VERY CAREFUL with what you offer (no T-shirts or anything like that unless you own a license, etc.) That said, looking at your page, the first thing I'd recommend is going after your family and closest friends exclusively, and do not hit up anyone else until family and friends help you get to 30% of that $10,000. This is where all crowdfunding initiatives for film begin, I'm afraid.

You also need a more standard campaign video. The footage is cool and all, but you need to "make an invitation" for people to actually put into this crowdfunding campaign. Better incentives (perks) are also a must, and again, this means you need to get VERY creative, since you really can't offer anything Bat-related. It will call attention to the big wigs at DC Entertainment, and they'll be in touch with Indiegogo to shut down your campaign. (Yes, even though you're not making a profit off their IP, you're still making money to make your film because of their IP, and to them, it's all the same.)

Start here, Erick. My other recommendation would be to pick up a copy of my book CROWDFUNDING FOR FILMMAKERS (https://goo.gl/xZmls4) and give it a read to help with a wider strategy. But again, no matter what you do, you need to be careful. I used to work for Indiegogo, so I know that as soon as DC gets wind of your campaign, they will shut it down like many campaigns before. So my advice is to tap family and friends, and then go after a wider audience on Facebook and Twitter.

All the best, Erick!

Trig! Love seeing you here, brother! And as always, bringing the sage advice.

Erick Moscoso HIGHLY recommend you give John's book a read. It will be invaluable to making you understand the hows and whys of running a successful campaign. You'll also understand almost immediately why you're not getting the response you seek and remove your frustrations.
