Hello! I'm a filmmaker from Trinidad and Tobago and I'm currently writing a couple of buddy movie scripts set in Trinidad. I also have a few films under my belt - mostly short ones (check them out on IMDb under "Sonja Dumas") and one award-winning full-length documentary on two dance pioneers in Trinidad and Tobago.

Talking about dance - that's often the subject of my films since I have a dance background as well. And I often say that I choreograph films! If there's anyone else out there who's interested in hearing more about my "dramedies" or dance films from the Caribbean, I'd love to meet you! And if you need a story consultant or a choreographer for a Caribbean project, I can help.
Last thing - I had the pleasure of meeting the Stage 32 when they were recently in Trinidad - really loved their presentations, which were via our film commission - FilmTT. Onward and upwards!

Sonja!!! So nice to see you introducing yourself. Guys - if anyone in my network is looking for a truly talented filmmaker in Trinidad - please network with Sonja Dumas! She is a great collaborator and bright light. She's just awesome.
Hi Sonja. I am a fellow Trinidadian producing a documentary on pigeonpea.

Hi Sonja. Thanks for your reply and interest. I will organise to connect with you again. I had made a quick introduction to you at our film festival in August.

Thanks, RB! Looking forward, Albertha!
Hi. Sonja in re-reading your introduction, I realise the last forthnight would have been interesting with the re-running of your dance film?
