Hello and here's to a fabulous 2020!
Here is a brief introduction. I'm an author with two books published, Catch the Moon, Mary and Fields of Grace. I've co-written a play based on Catch the Moon, Mary and am in the process of writing a screenplay also based on CTMM. My debut novel has certainly created a web of connected threads. The main character in CTMM other than the eponymous Mary is the evocative and alluring music she creates in her lively imagination. This music is the soundtrack to her difficult life and attracts some curious wannabe participants, namely the main protagonist - a troubled angel devoid of his signature light.
We all draw from life, don't we? Sometimes the writer's life is indistinguishable from the page/screen/dance/music and all that inner turmoil finds voice and expression in our chosen agent of transmogrification. Mine is words and when I have no composer to partner with, music. I love writing and cannot imagine losing my writer's voice. We who know "the agony and the ecstasy of Art" can scarcely imagine a corporate life. It's hard but remember Art is the gift of wings.
