Irish music documentary needs a home

Hi all,

I made a music documentary set in Ireland. The filming is beautiful, people love the music and seeing our concerts with drone footage of local landscapes sprinkled throughout. The interviews are interesting, Everyone said it makes them want to go there, which was the point of making the film.

However, they also say it needs a stronger story.

This is my first film.

I have a distributor, and the 83 minute cut won Best Music Doc at a film festival in the US.

Our distributor felt we'd have a better chance of selling to broadcasters, so we've cut a 52 minute for TV.

We have good stories that don't fit the narrative which could be made into shorts, or promo material.

I have a core group who are waiting for it to come out. I've been waiting to do a social media push until we're sure we have a final cut.

I feel stuck, and could probably use a story consult.

Stay well everyone - take your Vitamin C!

Hi Lori,

What's the craic! You'll certainly find at least one pub in every town where musicians hang out and play trad.

Naturally, your take on something Irish is something I'd be very keen to see :)

Kind Regards,

Eoin

Hi Lori, I watched the trailer and wish you all the best with your search for outlets. I'm unsure where you are based but look out for www.paus.tv as a portal and an income generator, on a micro-tip basis. All the best, Tony
