On Being a Cyborg

I actually meet the dictionaries definition. I am a 72 year old man, disabled vet, starting my fourth career as a writer/producer of movies and TV. First career was of course school and the Army.. Second career worked for a national CPA firm as a CPA Next career was as a business consultant. Since the army I have had 22 surgeries.. I have 5 titanium disks, a titanium bone in my leg, synthetic ligaments in both shoulders and miscellaneous other gadgets Twenty years ago I was 100 per cent disabled which meant I had to work less. That made me have time to write and I found out I liked writing better than business consulting. I wrote a lot during the first 15 years of my semi retirement, and some of it was readable. Six years ago I was told by the Neuro-surgeons that I had three to six months to live. There was nothing they could do because of my wounded spinal cord. I was then selected by St Jude's Research hospital for a trial on a new deep brain stimulation implant test. They put a computer in my back an it ended up working. Now I can enjoy my retirement by writing.. I now have metal, plastic, synthetic, a few other parts i do not want to think about and a computer making me work. I feel better now than I have since my first son was born and in better physical condition than I have a right to be.

What is it you want to do as a writer/producer?

Edward Morrisseey

first thing a true story of why the korean and vietnam wars were actually geo political victories that set the stage of our modern world. Story is about a hippie in the "summer of love in San Francisco who got tired of the parting enlisted in the army volunteered for combat and a year later was a combat sergeant I would like to post the one page my producer friend wanted but do not know if it would be appropriate;.

Carl Crosby

Edward Morrisseey That is interesting. I particularly like Korean War and Vietnam War settings. Are you planning to produce yourselves?

Tasha Lewis 2
