I've been privileged to have played some pretty amazing roles in my theatre acting career

If you know Mack the Knife, the anti-hero from Threepenny Opera, it may come as no surprise to you that over ten years ago (2004 actually) I drew on my experience as a dodgy geezer to play the role of that small-time crook and murderous cut-throat. I even got nominated as Best Actor for the role in 2005, but sadly, up and coming Doctor Who star, David Tennant got the award in stead. Sil was definitely not amused.

Thank you, Karen E Ross, for suggesting I share this on the Your Stage Lounge....maybe what I'm suggesting is that I have an aptitude for playing "dodgy geezers" or some producers/directors seem to think so.
