I'm not crying, your crying... okay, so we're all crying. It was just so shocking, moreso to think he was undergoing treatments while working. He was such an amazing role model. Sure, his characters will become legendary, but I think the real legacy will be his work ethic and his championing of characters that needed to be seen.

This death resonated with me more than any other celebrity death and I still can't put my finger on why. But, I'm glad that he is free of pain and gone to glory. His life was truly remarkable.

Truly at first I didn't believe it, I took it as misinformation. Then when the truth kicked in, it was bitter sweet. I had seen some of his films including Marshall, to see the character and not the actor onscreen is a gift. He has my respect even more for suffering silently the past four years and yet didn't allow the years or the cancer to inhibit him to carry on his artistic calling.
While this is a blow for many of us, and even though he did die young, let us not forget that what defines one's life is not how long he's lived it, not the quantity, but the quality, And up to last Friday, it was well lived and respected.
God bless you Chadwick, I hope to be as good as you.
