Introduce Yourself : This will make you laugh! by David Meyers

This will make you laugh!

Hi all -- I'd love to introduce you to Michael Bloomstein -- and www.Bloomywood.com

I think all screenwriters will relate, and you can see a 60 second trailer that will make you laugh.

A studio at Paramount is now helping us shop this around -- so glad to meet some fellow creatives!!

Karen "Kay" Ross

Hey, David! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. Nice to meet you! If you'd like to learn more about myself and the Stage32 Team, we have an intro blog: https://www.stage32.com/blog/Meet-the-Stage-32-Team

Congrats on the film and the assistance to shop it around! Thank you for making it clear that it is a mockumentary LOL! If you have a pitch, Definitely reach out to our Director of Script Services, Jason Mirch, who is excellent at matching projects with potential executives: J.Mirch@stage32.com

I’m sure you’ve already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), but I'd LOVE for you to post in the Acting Lounge as well! Maybe you could talk a little about your experience interacting with people on the streets as part of Bloomywood? Were they paid actors or just people? https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting

Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect! And, of course, feel free to reach out at any time. Cheers!

Ooo, also, I think you'd enjoy meeting my friend Kelly Shanley! She is also a comedy writer and has a few comedy scripts in the works, including a "MomCom" called Wingmom. You can see her introductory post here: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/introduce_yourself/Kickin-It-With-Kay

Watched your Bloomywood mockumentary episodes, David. Stange how a lot of the things you ask aren't really that funny in their own way. But people's reactions make them funny. Aren't the ones who 'do' want to talk to you the most interesting persons; they almost take the wind out of your sails. An ongoing story. Well done!

Great stuff, David. Best wishes with it.
