Hello on Introduce yourself weekend! I've been seriously pursuing my love of writing, creating, and storytelling for three years now, and even though I'm considered a late-bloomer, starting in my 50's, I've never been more driven and focused. Since joining Stage 32 a short three months ago, I've made some significant headway, placing as a quarterfinalist with my feature screenplay, Home, a horror genre script, in the ongoing 2021 Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship Contest. I've submitted pitches to six literary managers and associate managers here on Stage 32, with one request for a script. The exceptional value is the feedback and notes I've received from them, advancing and improving the quality of my work. Watching helpful webinars, joining pitch practice sessions, and learning the industry helps in numerous ways. This community is truly helpful and terrific.
I tirelessly write, currently I'm working on an hour TV pilot in the horror/fantasy genre, and also creating it's bible and pitch. I'm collaborating with another writer on a drama feature screenplay titled Switch, and I'm working on another drama feature screenplay titled Ousted. The learning process here on Stage 32 is invaluable, and I hope to make 2021 the year of making strong connections with literary managers, agents/agencies, and other screenwriters, furthering my career, creating more opportunities, and actually utilizing these connections, not only for myself, but to help others anyway I can. Criticism and suggestions are tools for progress, patience and persistence, my allies. My very best wishes of success and happiness to everyone on Stage 32. Keep living your dreams. I hope to hear from one and all.

Hi Kendra, Thank you for reaching out. I would have to say that I've had the strong desire to write and create stories for many years. Life's responsibilities took center stage for awhile, but returning to my passion and giving it more effort put me in a very happy state of mind. I believe we all have ability to create a story, be it from our own life experiences, or through cultural exposure. It's the desire level in side each of us that'll dictate our success stories. I wish you the best Kendra, and feel free to reach out to me anytime. Your success will make me as happy as my own. In the end, we are one big creative family!
Hi Edward, great meeting you too. Continued success to you as well. Keep swinging for the fences!
