Have you considered taking a tour through a studio for inspiration? Lots of them have pre-fab rooms for looks which may spark ideas. Even a virtual tour to a studio nowhere near you could be fun.
Thank you Karen for your suggestion. Coincidentally , i recently did that. However i just need a spark in terms of productions (Films) that effectively maximised the studio space with limited budget. Hitchcock films will come to mind, but i am also exploring contemporary productions.
Thank you Karen for taking time to drop your thoughts.
I'm not sure about the pure drama, but from what I've seen I remember a 2010 thriller called Buried. There was also a pretty solid sci-fi movie called Oxygen recently this year. Both literally take place in a box.
You are most welcome, Seun Arowojolu! Oooo, YES, Oleh Holyzov! Buried is a masterclass in filming a "bottle film"! Not sure it really shows what you can do in a studio space, but such a great film. Now I want to go back and watch JCVD just to see his epic monologue and see how they had to utilize a stage/studio for it. The height of the building was a big requirement for the space.
Yes, you are very right. Thank you for sharing this. I am grateful!
