Good to be here. I am Julian Thadathil from Pune, India.
Interestingly the city I come from is also home to the oldest and most famous Film & Television Institute of India (over 60 years old) and the National film Archives Of India.
I am an Advertising, Communication, Social Media professional and a budding songwriter who has lived and worked in India and North America. I am looking to transition into stories, scripts and voice artistry. Looking forward to interacting with all you wonderful people.
Specific Interest: Developing and selling story ideas for OTT platforms/feature film companies in India and internationally.

Good to meet you too and thank you for welcoming me to the community. Would love to be part of the Paris, Je T'aime challenge. Will need to find friends to nominate though.
I have been in advertising and brand building for a good part of my career so have been exposed to part of the process of filmmaking. Though I have been at the business end of things in my career, I have been told time and again that I write well and can hold viewer/ reader interest.
This coupled with the fact that in the last 25 years I would have watched close to 5000 movies (not counting serials/ soaps etc), got me thinking if all these people can do it shouldn't I be at least trying to chase my dreams?
I also love to experiment..so though I feel my calling is that of a screenwriter, I have created very short films based on life experiences called Storm In The Coffee Cup Stories, have helped my daughter create some music videos for her covers and originals. You might find some of those on my Instagram handle @julianthadathil These are just baby steps but the idea is to understand the process and contribute to the creation.
