So far, Unreal was the leading game engine used for video games and also used for animation and movies. With this news, it looks like Unity might catch up soon with Unreal. Given that some animation studios have also started to use Unity, this could be an excellent tool for transmedia projects that involve animation and video games.

Very cool! The more tools we can share, the more creators will be able to share their ideas! We are just getting into the Unreal workflow, so this will be interesting to watch.
