I also like to be more versatile, so I've been working on a Sci-fi feature as well as a coming-of-age romance novel.

Nicole Zhang, I try to write fresh scenes in my horror scripts (things that haven't been seen). Sometimes horror doesn't have character arcs. The main characters in my horror scripts have character arcs though. Is this what you meant by "Would love to hear about your work flow on it."?
One tip for writing horror: word usage is very important to build atmosphere and write action lines.
