75% finished with my new screenplay. I'm not a "bang out a first draft and edit later" kind of writer, so the progress is slow but steady. For example last night I wrote 4 new pages but also deleted 2 earlier pages, because I realized that the other scene no longer made sense. We all have our own method and mine works for me. Anyway, still writing and that's all that matters.

Good job and good luck. You'll get it-after all, you've come this far and it'd be a darn shame to give that up.

Joseph, thanks for the good news!
My method's a little bit like yours...slow and steady, editing as I write.
Glad you're here on Stage 32...wishing you all the VERY BEST!

Joseph Rhea I write like you and Jim Boston do, Joseph. I write some pages and go back the next day and rewrite until I'm satisfied before writing more pages. I had a producer call me and ask how many drafts I'd done on my screenplay, and for some reason blurted out four, but thinking about his question afterwards, realized I'd just done one or two drafts, depending on how one defines a draft, because I edit as I go. I don't like having a big messy first draft to clean up.
