Nice to Meet You again!

I am a screenwriter and the founder of Blue Pen Notes, an in-line script note business.

This is my one-year anniversary as a member of Stage 32 and I have enjoyed making so many connections all over the world. You can find me in the Coverage Report on Monday's and as a Moderator in the Writer's Room. I look forward to another year of making great friends.

Please check out my website www.bluepennotes.com if you need help with your scripts. There are also some fun mugs, totes, and Tees as well.

That script page looks familiar, Jill Godley. :) That's a page from one of my older scripts, everyone. Jill has given me notes on two scripts. Her notes are really helpful! She pointed out things I never thought of. Incredible notes!

Jill Godley Hi there, Jill. Congratulations on your one year anniversary at Stage32. I am glad that your network is growing! I hope this finds you well.

Jill Godley

Maurice Vaughan thank you so much for letting me use this as a sample it has been invaluable.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Jill Godley. I like the name Blue Pen Notes.

Jill Godley

Maurice Vaughan Thank you!

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Jill Godley. Why blue instead of red?

Jill Godley

Maurice Vaughan The simple answer is PDF's default color is blue, BUT the more important answer is I feel that my role is to help elevate a story by giving suggestions for improvement or teaching if there is a formatting error. Blue to me is a friendlier color, whereas Red implies incorrect or wrong.

Maurice Vaughan

Cool, Jill Godley. "Blue to me is a friendlier color, whereas Red implies incorrect or wrong." I thought that might've been the reason.

Scarlett Fox

blue and gold are Kentucky's colors, and red is my favorite color. In Audiology we use a blue ink pen for the left ear and a red ink pen for the right ear on the audiograms. so much for being a speech pathologist for 41 years ! I love red, but for poster boards use dark blue, it's noticeable compared to red.

Jill Godley

Scarlett Fox very interesting.
