I have put together a few screenplays from my interviews with vets. One is a first-hand account of the USS Pueblo (US spy ship captured by N. Korea in late 1968, the crew spent 11 months in captivity)
I also have a screenplay I wrote focusing on Sacagawea and here role with the Lewis and Clark Exped.

Congratulations on completing those Michael Pazeian and I love the fact that they stemmed from interviews with vets! What's your next step?
I do not really know - very new to all of this. I am guessing I need a film agent?

No, an agent is step #300. Youre on step like, 75. Get notes, do rewrites, polish, make sure they feel like movies and are strong enough scripts, do your research, target producers and actors companies that work with vets/vets issues first. Dont worry about getting an agent yet, its not like in publishing.
