Hello Stage 32 Community! My name is Ferhiya Abdullahi, I'm a 24-year-old Swedish immigrant originally from Somalia, and thrilled to join this vibrant community of creatives. My storytelling journey began at a young age, crafting short stories for my younger siblings. Over time, my passion evolved into writing longer narratives and poetry. In my teenage years, I dove into screenwriting, eagerly reimagining storylines for beloved shows. Despite not having attended film school, my passion and drive remines unchanged. My heart yearns for the world of film beckoning me to explore witing, acting and filmmaking, so i have decided to take a leap and give it my all. Let the chips fall where they may and all that . I'm currently immersed in bringing a short script to life as a film, delving into themes pf trauma and self-defense through a haunting dance sequence. I'm also working on a series set in Stockholm, which follows the journey of two teenagers from contrasting worlds as they navigate the city's treacherous underworld, facing challenges that test their limits and beliefs. My focus now is on honing these projects, alongside other short films and screenplays that provoke thought and open up conversations between unexpected individuals.
