Hello Filmmakers,

I’m so excited to welcome you to my upcoming class, How to Approach Hiring Top-Tier Talent for Your Feature Film, taking place on January 6th. Whether you’re an emerging director, up and coming casting director, an established producer, or somewhere in between, this session will equip you with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence to secure big-name actors for your projects—and do so in a way that sets your production on the path to success.

A bit about me: I’ve spent the past several years working as both a film producer and distributor. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of navigating different aspects of the filmmaking process, from concept development to festival premieres. Through numerous productions, I’ve honed my ability to identify casting opportunities that elevate the overall value of a film—both creatively and in the marketplace. I’ve negotiated deals with top-level agencies, found ways to manage limited budgets without sacrificing star power, and built relationships that have opened doors to some of Hollywood’s most talented actors including Sean Patrick Flanery The Boondock Saints,The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Jaime King Sin City, Hart of Dixie, Kelly Stables and Jennifer Taylor of Two and a Half Men, Frank Whaley Pulp Fiction, Swing Kids, Eric Roberts The Dark Knight, Suits, Denise Richards The World Is Not Enough, Wild Things, Adrian Paul Highlander: The Series, Briana Evigan Step Up 2: The Streets, Gilles Marini Sex and the City, Dancing with the Stars, Ed Begley Jr. St. Elsewhere.

I’ve created this class because I believe every filmmaker should have a clear, strategic approach to casting. It’s not just about chasing the biggest name; it’s about matching the right performer with the right role in a way that resonates with audiences and investors alike.

I want this class to be as interactive and valuable as possible, so please feel free to ask any questions in advance or share what you’re particularly interested in learning. By the end of our time together, I hope you’ll not only feel excited about the possibilities of casting your dream actors, but also more prepared to navigate the challenges that come with this critical stage of filmmaking.

Looking forward to seeing you on January 6th and hearing more about what each of you is working on. Let’s make your next feature film a success—starting with the perfect cast!

Best regards,

Michelle Alexandria
