I’m Josh, an emerging screenwriter. I love sci-fi, thrillers, and moody, character-driven stories. My goal is to connect with like-minded creatives and grow as a writer while contributing to meaningful projects.
I’ve completed a feature-length screenplay called Dark Trace, a psychological sci-fi that I’m working to get picked up for production. It’s a dark, atmospheric story with complex characters and heavy themes; definitely a labor of love.
I’m also here to collaborate. I’d love to adapt a short story of yours into a screenplay. For me, it’s about gaining more experience, building genuine connections, and sharpening my skills. More or less, I want practice. If the project moves forward, we could share IMDb credits and open doors for each other.

My name is Joshua O-lawal, and I'm a 14-year-old aspiring screenwriter (turning 15 this year!). I’ve completed three short scripts: "The Omac's Legacy" (action), "Jace and Grace" (family comedy), and "Grand Theft Pushers" (crime). I also have a horror short script, and I’m currently working on a feature film and TV script.

Greetings Josh! Congrats on DARK TRACE. Interesting title indeed. I have a series of short stories that I am compiling into a short story collection this year and self-publishing. If you wanted to take a stab at adapting any of them, I'd be willing to send you a link to them (they're unlisted on Medium.com).
