Introduce Yourself : Greetings All by David Dicaire

David Dicaire

Greetings All

How many times can you introduce yourself? LOL. I am Dave and I write stories. I never miss an IYW, yet don't want to sound stale and repetitive. What kind of stories do you write? Stories that will keep you awake at night. Or glue your seat to a chair for a couple of hours. Or something that will make you cry. Or something that will make you laugh so hard that fall off your seat. Or something that will expand your mind and wonder at the possibilities. No matter what you write, make it sharp as a point and bring it home. Cheers.

Hey, David Dicaire. Hope you're doing great! You can introduce yourself as many times as you like. That way, members who didn't see your other introduction will see the new one.

David Dicaire

Hey Maurice Vaughan. I am doing well. I hope you are also doing great. Yes, I understand the procedure. It is fun to take a different angle.

Maurice Vaughan

Glad you're doing well, David Dicaire. I'm doing well too. You're right. I try different introductions for IYW. I write scary, action-packed stories. I write other stories sometimes, like funny stories.

Richard "RB" Botto

That's what IY weekend is all about, David Dicaire. Posting about yourself, contributing to other posts and creating new networking ops. Never feel like you're repeating yourself. With thousands joining us here every month, there's always new people to meet.

As to your question, I always have many ideas in the pipeline, but it absolutely the one that keeps me up at night that I dig into.

David Dicaire

Hey Richard "RB" Botto. Absolutely. Never felt like I was repeating myself. Every post is like a snowflake, similar to the last one but unique on its own. Or like a wave riding into shore.

David Dicaire

Hey Maurice Vaughan. I understand what you are saying. Glad you are doing well.

Richard "RB" Botto

Well said, my friend.

Geoffroy Faugerolas

Great to meet you, David Dicaire

David Dicaire

Great to meet you as well, Geoffroy Faugerolas.

Maurice Vaughan

What are you working on, David Dicaire?

David Dicaire

Hey Maurice Vaughan, thanks for asking. I have just finished a couple of short scripts. They are romances. I think they are contest worthy. I am working on a horror script and had a good week with it. I am also writing a geo-political script. It is coming together. I am working on something that doesn't seem to be attached to any specific genre. What about you?

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, David Dicaire. Congratulations on finishing your short scripts! And congratulations on the progress with your other scripts! I'm focused on rewriting two feature scripts right now.

David Dicaire

Thanks Maurice Vaughan. Good luck on rewriting two feature scripts. What are they about?

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, David Dicaire. One is a Holiday Horror script, and the other is a Horror Action script.

David Dicaire

Wow, Maurice Vaughan. They sound really interesting.

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks, David Dicaire. I'll be able to talk about my scripts some more once I start pitching them. Hope you have a great weekend and option/sell your scripts!
