Hello, I'm new here. I've been writing my screenplay for my book I released to turn it into a tv series and I need opinions I don't know if it would be good enough or if people would even enjoy it.
Great to meet you Lisa Baxter and welcome aboard! You really need to check out the Writers Room here on Stage 32 where you can pitch your projects to industry producers and much more!
I strongly recommend pursuing this. Envision your narrative realized. I am confident in your ability to achieve this, particularly in writing and publishing a novel; it would be a remarkable accomplishment.
Lisa Baxter Adapting a piece of intellectual property you own is a brilliant move and already sets you apart. I'd recommend getting your book publish however you can to build an audience. This will help you sell your script down the line. Don't wait for anyone to give you the OK. Self-publish your book, get it in front of an audience, and leverage that audience down the line when approaching executives with your screenplay.
