Manolo Mantero introduction

Hi everyone,

I’m an Emmy-nominated VFX Supervisor with over 25 years in the film industry, working on more than 20 major productions across sci-fi, fantasy, and action.

Most recently, I was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for my work on Stranger Things Season 4. Before that, I had the chance to supervise the Oscar-winning Dune: Part One, which also picked up a BAFTA for Best Visual Effects.

Over the years, I’ve contributed to films like Alien: Covenant, X-Men: Apocalypse, Fantastic Beasts, The Predator, Men in Black: International, Death on the Nile, and many more.

In 2023, the University of Wolverhampton—where I studied—awarded me a Doctor Honoris Causa for my contributions to the arts, which was a huge personal honor.
