Hi team!
I’m Lindsay, a cinematographer and filmmaker based in Greensboro, NC. I’m passionate about emotionally driven visual storytelling—especially in narrative and documentary formats.
I lean into natural light and grounded aesthetics, and I love collaborating with thoughtful directors who value quiet moments and layered visuals. Currently working on two short films (Atlas Falling just released!) and now developing I Saw You Last, a grounded psychological thriller, and Until Life Do Us Part, a romantic comedy about marriage, identity, and rediscovering love in the empty-nest phase of life.
I’m especially drawn to:
Genres: Psychological thriller, drama, mystery, grounded sci-fi
Collaboration: Directors, screenwriters, editors, producers
Interests: Indie film, visual storytelling, pre-production workflow, camera + lens testing
Excited to meet new creatives and support each other’s journeys!

Maurice Vaughan Nope! Not at all. Butane bubbles, a quick shutter speed, and precise timing. All in camera. :-)

It was, Lindsay Thompson. Your picture reminded me of the scene when Ryan Gosling's character was set on fire for a stunt.

Lindsay Thompson Soooo I lived and worked in Aberdeen, NC, and traveled around there a lot in the past. Have you ever been up to Mt. Airy? I am one to fully agree in the layers of nature and weather and quiet moments in a script and write with that style as well. <3 Feel free to connect! :)
