I’m Balint Dienes, author of Hell of a Weekend (available on Amazon), and I’m looking for creative partners to turn it into a thrilling mini-series. Set in a historic five-star hotel in the Vienna Woods, it follows a night receptionist caught in a whirlwind weekend of eccentric guests, all tied to a Ukrainian billionaire’s mission to reassemble the Chronovisor — a mythical device said to reveal the true past… and maybe the future.

Thanks Guys! Really nice words... I’m looking for creative partners with experience in screenwriting, producing, or directing, who share a passion for bringing unique, high-concept stories to life. My goal is to adapt Hell of a Weekend into a compelling mini-series, so I’m especially interested in collaborators who can help translate the novel’s cinematic potential onto the screen — from developing the script to shaping the visual style and tone.

Dear Maurice! Thanks again for the warm welcome! I'm also looking forward to collaborating with you and with the amazing members of this community in the future too!
I uploaded a moodboard video, I entered my Logline and I inserted my Pitch to the "synopsis" section... (Thanks for that tip by the way!)
What do you think, what the next essential step should be? Shall I sigh up for a Pitch Session with an Industry Executive or should I go already for a contest or competition?
Cheers!

You're welcome, Balint Dienes. I think doing a Pitch Session or entering a contest next is a great idea.
The main purpose of the Pitch Sessions is to get feedback to improve your pitch, but sometimes the executives, managers, etc. will request scripts, sign writers, etc. (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/success-stories). The Pitch Sessions helped me get better at written pitches. www.stage32.com/scriptservices/pitch-sessions
Stage 32 has written pitch examples (one for a movie and one for a series). Stage 32 also has a verbal TV pitch beat sheet and a verbal feature film pitch beat sheet. You can get them by emailing success@stage32.com.
A screenwriting contest is a way to get your script in front of agents, managers, and other industry professionals. Here's the link to the Global Contest Hub on Stage 32: www.stage32.com/scriptservices/contests

Dear Alexandra, it’s great to meet you too! Thank you for your kind words and for your question. To be honest, I’ve been working in five-star hotels for more than a decade, and this world has simply captivated me. It has such a wonderful atmosphere, but unfortunately not everyone can afford to experience it. That’s one of the reasons I chose an imaginary, long-standing five-star hotel as the setting for my entire story—so the reader or viewer can enjoy its atmosphere for a little while, regardless of their financial situation.
Another key element of my story is the presence of mysterious machines and tools, such as the Chronovisor, the Ouija Board, or the White-Noise Machine—devices that may exist or may have existed in the past, but whose existence is strongly denied by mainstream media. What truly inspired me was the idea of writing a story set in an old five-star hotel where mysterious things unfold, and where the reader or viewer can never be entirely sure where reality ends and fiction begins.
