Hello everyone
I genuinely want to know, is there any body here, or any proper website whom I can ask or where I can do some research about Filipino culture and history. I am writing a screenplay of a dramatized version of the Alice Guo Case so, some cultural and social cues would be very helpful. I'll be sure to give credits. Thank you!
I have found ChatGPT to be an excellent source of information. I use it a lot for research regarding my shows, films and music. I have the paid version, but the free one is also great.

Wyman Brent I have too, but I would really love to delve into the more local traditions, which unfortunately, ChatGPT doesn't answer to very well.
Wamia Rah., perhaps ChatGPT can give you links to cultural sources. I have found some very obscure information with ChatGPT. I would ask a question and then ChatGPT would offer up outside links.
Wyman Brent Alright, thank you for the suggestion.

Hi, Wamia Rah. I suggest making a post on the Job Board, asking if anyone who knows about Filipino culture and history will answer your questions (www.stage32.com/find-jobs). I also suggest Googling Filipino culture and history.

Yes, CHATGPT has helped me too. But what about researching Filipino Community Centres or libraries such as the National Library or Library of Congress?

Ilanna Mandel, great idea. The Library of Congress has some great online resources for free, including tons of images. I used to hang out there when I lived in D.C. long ago before the internet.
