Screenwriting : Micro dramas are taking over are you ready? by Ron Reid

Micro dramas are taking over are you ready?

With a breakthrough in micro dramas it makes sense to tell stories in short formats than a 30 minute show. Perhaps a new format will be needed to captivate the viewers for 2 minutes: with a beginning hook, middle and end with a cliff hanger to bring them back for 2 more minutes. Let me know what you think of this taking over America. https://youtu.be/HaQb4jabtKM?si=F08KcVWCWY2-566h

I think it's great, Ron Reid! More opportunities for creatives. I'm going to be working with a producer-director on micro dramas soon.

Maurice Vaughan You can create your dramas on your own platform too. It is an idea I think I might run with in footage we shot here with interviews of Black African Americans in Tokyo talking about like here and see if we can hook people to come back. I think we have a few hours worth of shooting and footage from zoom. Plus one person we talked with had a live show I want to include. And a Sci Fi I can put into chapters as well. All the best to you and your team.

You're right, Ron Reid. That's a great idea! Thanks. I'm looking forward to seeing your micro dramas!

Yo what is a micro drama?

Pat Alexander

yeah, these "micro dramas" or "vertical dramas" are really goofy. basically just super serious, melodramatic sketches. but with recurring stories / episodic form. there's not really a lot different about writing them, except being punchier and cliffhanging the end as hard as you possibly can.
