Hello, I just joined the October Community Open House and wanted to follow through on an introduction! Thank you Stage 32 for the great information at the open house!
I'm Amanda Guy, a screenwriter shaped by movement—born in the Midwest, and continually inspired by the places I’ve explored across the country. My stories reflect that journey: emotionally rich, small moments of beauty, genre-blending, and grounded in characters with unique relationships and natural dialogue. Additionally, I draw inspiration from improv and sketch comedy, nighttime dreams, and meditative reflection.
I’ve completed dramedy features and am currently writing a draft of a coming-of-age romance and compiling outlines/ideas for a sci-fi/fantasy TV pilot, and a psychological thriller feature.
I'm looking forward to meeting more of the Stage 32 community!

Hi, Amanda Guy! Welcome to the community. Glad you joined the Community Open House!
Stage 32 has a blog that'll help you navigate the platform and connect with creatives and industry professionals all over the world. www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-successfully-navigate-the-stage-32-platform-...
You could post your scripts on your profile. Producers search profiles for projects. That and networking are how I sold four short scripts to a producer. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your scripts on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)

That sounds like some great projects you got there, Amanda Guy! I love a good dramedy. And yes, I actually wrote an entire screenplay based on a dream I had once that woke me up, because in the dream itself, I had the thought... "Wow. This would make for an incredible scene in a movie!" lol
