Ethan Hawke is a genius. I've always appreciated how he can seamlessly flow in and out of mainstream and indie worlds. The best actors do.

Ethan is a consummate professional. Working with him on First Reformed was a delight as he executed with precision and great style, with the help of Paul Schrader of course. A good example of star power elevating beyond face value with talent and purpose.
