Introduce Yourself : Greetings from Conway, AR by Reginald Marshall

Reginald Marshall

Greetings from Conway, AR

Hi everyone! I’m Reginald Marshall, a screenwriter based in Conway, AR. I focus on character-driven stories with strong emotional arcs and layered humor. My current projects include Curtain Call (a high-stakes love story about ambition, fame, and the price of choices) and Miles of Us (a heartfelt road-trip drama about rediscovery and resilience). I’m here to connect, share ideas, and learn from fellow creatives. Looking forward to collaborating and supporting each other’s work!

Hey Reginald, it's nice to meet you! Welcome to Stage 32! This is a great community full of creatives passionate about filmmaking. Drop into some of our discipline lounges to chat and get to know everyone.

We have a Community Open House every month, hosted by our Head of Community, Ashley Renee Smith. This month's is on January 28 @ 12:00 p.m. PT. You can register here: https://www.stage32.com/education/products/stage-32s-january-2026-commun...

Stage 32 has a lot of great resources for creatives, but the platform is massive so if you get the chance to watch the community open house, do yourself that favor. Ashley does a great job of showing folks around the site. It's really helpful.

I'm so glad you've joined us! I do like a drama with a good shot of humor, so I'm looking forward to seeing more about your projects. I can't wait to see what you create!

Douglas Esper

I love both concepts! Welcome, nice to meet you. The price of choices is very impactful. Our choices is what ultimately determines our life and our story. Good luck!

Welcome! Your description of your films really resonates with me; I also work a lot on the human aspect. See you soon.

Ashley Renée Smith!

Hi Reginald Marshall, welcome! I’m Ashley, Head of Community here at Stage 32. It’s great to meet you!

I love that you’re focused on character-driven stories with emotional arcs and layered humor. Both Curtain Call and Miles of Us sound like projects that really live and breathe through character. Those kinds of stories tend to resonate deeply with both audiences and collaborators.

You might enjoy spending time in the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting) to share ideas, talk craft, and connect with writers working in a similar space. Since you’re developing feature projects, the Producing Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing) is also a great place to start conversations with producers and creatives thinking about next steps toward development.

If you’re interested in a more structured, supportive writing environment, the Writers’ Room can be a great fit, and there’s a free month available if you’d like to explore it (https://www.stage32.com/writers-room/plans-vip). It’s an excellent way to stay accountable while building relationships with other professionals.

If you’re looking to learn more about craft, pitching, or the business side, our Education Team is always happy to make personalized recommendations based on your goals. You can reach them at (Edu@Stage32.com). And when you’re ready to think strategically about connections, pitch sessions, or positioning your projects, our Success Team is there to help at (Success@Stage32.com).

I’d also love to invite you to our January 2026 Community Open House, which is completely free and open to new and current members. It’s a great way to learn how to navigate Stage 32 and start building meaningful connections right away:
