Hello my name is Damaa Grace, a young screenplay writer, I am thrilled to submit my action-packed historical epic story "Reign of a Queen". This story is a tripping tale of revenge, war and redemption set against the backdrop of 16th century African kingdoms. With it's fast-paced action sequences, complex characters and historical significance.
LOGLINE: Nzinga a once-spirited warrior now Queen after losing her husband and two sons to brutal violence. She forges alliances with fearless, warrior Maku to wage war against treacherous governor Luis and her rival king Nimi.

Damaa Grace Are you aware there was a 2013 feature about the historical Nzingha Mbande entitled Nzingha, Queen Of Angola https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3463004/ If you haven't seen it, you should. The historical Nzingha had been trained as a warrior and in politics by her father, assassinated her brother, and had no children (due to injuries her brother had done to her prior to her removing him), and both stopped the Portuguese slave trade in her region while cooperating with it. She had a cadre of female warriors and generals, and assigned the throne to her sister, Kambu upon her death. A very complex and compelling character and she did, in fact, visit revenge on many people.
