Does anyone here think using the Twilight Zone as a series similar to your own is too old?

Yup, I have listed Black Mirror, Orphan Black, Severance, Twilight Zone, and Tales from the Loop. I was going to list Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities but I think it was a one season experiment.
I haven't heard of Tales from the Loop and Cabinet of Curiosities, Ilanna Mandel. I'll have to check them out. Black Mirror, Orphan Black, Severance, and Tales from the Loop might be enough comparables. I like to use 2-4 comps.
