Greetings fellow Stage 32ers! I am Allison “A.H.”Plotts, a fiction author, screenwriter, and now an executive producer. I’m new to the whole financing-my-own-short-film situation, I wrote a screenplay and now want to see the movie get made and then hit the short film circuit. It’s a horror-comedy but that’s enough about what I’m doing. Now for why I am here.
I need to learn. I want to learn about filmmaking and collaborate with other filmmakers. I’m doing this for the sheer love of movies and creativity and the written word. I’ve had my career, recently retired from government work, so I don’t feel pressured to “make it.” I just love writing and movies and hell yeah I want to be a part of this business we call show! Thanks for letting me join in.

Hi there! Great to meet you and to hear what you are working on. I like attending the Open Houses when I can - I find them useful to help branch out and build your network. And keep an eye on the blogs for industry insider intel - they are always handy!
