Here is the logline and synopsis for "Recycle," aka my first shot at the short script format.
LOGLINE: A desperate new hire on a mandatory trial period in a corporate warehouse discovers human remains in a crate and realizes that the job is set to take his humanity.
COMPS: "Severance" meets "Black Mirror"
Full script (13 pages) available. DM for details.
Hope everyone in the S32 crowd is set for a good weekend!

Hi Michael! The Logline for Recycle sounds awesome :) I don't think I'd like to work in that warehouse?

Hii Ryan Christiansen, yeah that's not the best place to work in. Just like a creepy cabin in the woods isn't good for a vacation, but it can be good for a story!

Hey Michael Dzurak,
This concept genuinely stuck with me for a minute, that idea of a job slowly stripping someone of their humanity is very unsettling in the best way.
The “Severance meets Black Mirror” comparison feels right on tone, but your logline already stands on its own. The warehouse setting + discovery of human remains creates instant tension.
One thing that might make the logline even sharper is hinting at the choice or moral conflict he faces, like what he risks if he doesn’t comply.
Also, I’d actually love to read the full script if you’re open to sharing, shorts with strong psychological hooks like this have a lot of potential, especially visually.
Great first swing at the format

Totally agree Michael! Yep, you gotta watch out for those cabins in the woods too!
