Hi all,
I entered my first TV comedy pilot into Lit Laughs International Comedy Film Festival, in Yorkshire, UK, a few months ago. I just received email notification that I placed as a Semi-Finalist.
I am so excited about this because it's my first placement of any kind in a competition or festival.
I've entered other projects to comps previously and while none of them got traction, each one was an important reminder that at least I completed them, and had the courage to enter at all.
The other reminder is each new project strengthens how you write and the precision of putting your message across.
Anyway, just wanted to briefly toot my horn. Thanks for reading.

Congrats! Reach out to a film school & see if any of the students want to help you make a proof of concept. I’m sure someone would want to shoot an award winning script.
