When I'm 'introduced' to someone new the first thing I look at is 'About'. Well, so disappointing! I've looked at many and no-one seems share their credits. Is it me? I filled in my profile but now am considering taking off the information because it seems, sharing is not the 'done' thing here... Any thoughts?

My thoughts are to not think about what others do here. You're disappointed when you see nothing about people - don't disappoint people looking at your profile.
But D. Marcus although you have one sentence more than most - you still do not list credits etc. My question is "Why not?".
Apologies to D. Marcus. I've now realized why you don't list more by reading between the lines of many, many of your responses to others.

No apology needed. As I thought over your question I realized I don't have an answer. I'm pleased you found an answer between the lines of my posts.
Perhaps very few people here have credits. I don't.
Even if you don't have credits, it's good to know something more then male/female actor, director, writer etc. For instance, which genre do you prefer? Do you write for TV, film, shorts, features, adaptations etc, even if not produced yet.
Frances, you're assuming everyone has credits. they don't. There are mostly amateurs here. People aspiring to be paid writers. I sure don't have anything to post up.

Yes, but at the risk of repeating myself, it would be good to know something more. What genre you write in; TV or film - what are your passions? A clue to character...
