I am a lifetime author, playwright, journalist, screenwriter, poet, producer, director, editor, teacher.
I’ve been doing it since I was 15 - so, yeah, for over 50 years. Which earns you zero respect in the world we live in. My motto: if I can breathe, I can write. If you let them take that away from you, then you never had it.

I started off as a poet, then became an actor, then I wrote feature articles on the Arts for the Village Voice, Soho Weekly News, New York Times, New Republic, New York Newsday. MFA from Columbia U. In playwriting/screenwriting. Literary Manager for an Off-Broadway new play theater, Primary Stages.
