On the run with stolen money, a fractured mother and daughter enter a shifting desert where time repeats, identities split, and escape is only possible if they can outplay the Doubles of themselves trying to take their place.
SYNOPSIS:
Rebecca and her estranged daughter Matilda are on the run across the Arizona desert, carrying stolen cash and the fragile hope of starting over. Their journey takes a surreal turn when an isolated gas station appears along an endless highway: a place that shouldn’t exist.
From that moment on, reality begins to collapse.
Trapped inside a shifting liminal space that behaves like a puzzle, Rebecca and Matilda are forced to follow a set of hidden rules: solve the clues, keep moving, don’t get caught.
Because if one of their Doubles reaches them first, she'll becomes them.
As the environment transforms from burning desert to arctic void, the two women are pushed into a psychological and emotional reckoning with their shared past, their betrayal, and the love they never managed to repair.
To escape they must break the loop, outwit their Doubles, and rediscover their bond.
