Sandy Greenwood

Born in Sydney, Australia, Sandy is the daughter of an Aboriginal mother and an Australian father of Welsh ancestry.Raised in a strong and vibrant Aboriginal family in New South Wales, Sandy began performing in dance and drama from a very early age. On completion of a First class Honours Degree in Theatre she traveled to New York to undertake rigorous theatre training at the prestigious Atlantic Acting School and worked with a number of high profile acting coaches in Los Angeles. A strong and versatile stage actor, Sandy has worked for The Sydney Theatre Company, The Seattle Children's Theater in Washington, USA and Australia's Leading Indigenous Theatre Companies. Sandy has recently set up her own Production Company, Jinda Productions with a number of Indigenous projects in pre-production. Killer Elite is Sandy's US film debut. In 2012 Sandy was awarded 'Most Outstanding Indigenous Artist' at the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
