If there are enough of us willing, a meet up for those of us in the south east of England would be nice. Kent, Sussex, Surrey. Anyone interested?
Keep me posted on when the meetup happens - we'll feature it on Stage 32 :)
Im in Brighton, and thinking of organizing something there....
I'm in Ashford, Kent and would love to meet up, work allowing :)
And you too. Hopefully I'll be able to make it the the next London meetup. While the last meet up was on I was in a pre-production meeting

Liar, I hear you cry but it's true. What he was doing was more creative. Luke was drawing some rather good stick man cartoons that where really funny. So this morning over breakfast he asked "Dad, you make films, don't you." then he asked "do you think the ideas in my cartoons would make good short films?" So I looked at his drawings with my directors had fully on. I am amazed in the ideas behind Luke's cartoons and I'm going to make a couple of short films out of his ideas just so I can see him smile every time he sees them. So if there's any people in South East Kent (UK) who would like to make a 12 year old autistic boys whole year let me know.
Besides forgetting your lines, if that's ever happened to you, what's the most awkward experience in the audition room you can remember? I'll be sharing the most amusing answers with my acting students and on my blog site, Acting Made Stupid Simple.
I wish more actors would be honest like during script readings, it makes the directors job a little easier.
Usually anything that is action related is pretty shitty. I've had them ask me to pretend to fire a gun, or duck for an incoming missile... that is always pretty miserable.
