Grand Niece of Novelist, Theodore Dreiser, and Songwriter, Paul Dresser, Granddaughter of Broadway Actor, Ed Dresser, Daughter of Psychotherapist, Author, Columnist, and TV & Radio Personality, Vera Dreiser.

1980 – 1987: CO-FOUNDER, ASSOCIATE PRODUCER, AND LEADING SOPRANO OF THE “SOUTHEASTERN SAVOYARDS,” A PROFESSIONAL GILBERT & SULLIVAN COMPANY. NOMINATED FOR AN EMMY FOR BEST PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTRESS IN A MUSICAL, for her performance of “Yum-Yum” in “The Mikado,” on stage, and presented on Georgia Public Television, and on PBS, coast to coast.

The Southeastern Savoyards were lauded as “history in the making” (Scott Cain, “The Atlanta Journal”) on their opening, and garnered praise nationally in Delta’s “Sky” magazine as “Magnificent Foolishness.” Scott Cain later said, of Tedi and the Savoyards, “Nothing can replace the knowledge that you’re good, and that people know you’re good.”

1978 – 1983: PR/PROMOTIONS DIRECTOR, WLTA-FM-100, ATLANTA, GEORGIA – Coordinated various commercial and civic promotions which received special recognition, including a Special Resolution in the Georgia State Senate, and Certificates of Appreciation from the Leukemia Society of America, the Council on Battered Women, the Cystic Fibrosis Association, the Atlanta Lung Association, and others.

ON-AIR VOICE TALENT, BOTH FREE-LANCE AND AT WLTA: Produced her own Regional and Local Voiceover Commercials & Promos, operating an entire 4-Channel Stereo Production Room, including 4-TR Scully Sel-Sync, Revox Varispeed, & DBX Mike Compression.

1977: Certificate of Appreciation – Award in recognition of valuable service to DeKalb County by the Department of Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Affairs, for Professional contributions as a SINGER, DANCER, ACTRESS.
