Josh Frantz

I am an independent filmmaker who loves working with great people to make great movies with great messages. Since I first fell in love with filmmaking over 15 years ago, I have approached every project with a passion to present something unique and beautiful. I use creative means to tackle big projects with tiny budgets, producing professional results.

I love working hard, challenging myself and others to excel, and learning from everyone and everything I do. I strive for excellence no matter how small the project or expectation.

Growing up home-schooled in Anchorage, Alaska, I discovered my passion for moviemaking during my teen years, and throughout high school I made videos for friends’ school projects. After making an ambitious hour-long action film with my friends at age 20, I decided to pursue film directing as a career. I got my college degree from UAA, and have been studying independently ever since. I now work with others on local short and feature films, as well as producing my own videos for private clients. I am always anxious to meet and work with great people, and aid their success in their own pursuits.
