Joe Wilson

JOE WILSON is an advertising and commercial photographer based in Portland, Oregon.

Joe is known for putting even the most camera-shy person completely at ease in front of the lens. His quick sense of humor and down-to-earth outlook are what allow him to connect with his subjects and create dramatic images.

He has been a professional photographer for more than 20 years, starting as a newspaper photojournalist in the late 1980s. Joe spent most of his working life in newspapers as a reporter, photographer, editor and eventually a newspaper and magazine publisher.

He now shoots photos commercially full time at his studio in Portland's Central Eastside Industrial District and on location all over the world.

Through workshops and one-on-one coaching he teaches both pro and amateur photographers about the art and craft of studio and location photography and how to effectively use Photoshop and other image editing software.
