Hi, I'm Karen. Welcome to my page.
During my many years as a teacher of young children and entertaining them with my brand of storytelling, I decided to follow my lifelong dream of being a stage actor, making my debut as Mrs. Gibbs in Thornton Wilder's “Our Town.”

Following a number of other acting opportunities from Greek tragedy (Medea) to Americana both literary (Little Women) and musical (Carousel) including a few short films 'on the side,' I began my career in voice-over.

I am now a SAG-AFTRA artist and the owner of A Voice 4 Business. As a voiceover talent, my body of work includes commercials, video narration, business presentations, infomercials, video games, IVR and narration of over 80 stories for children, as well as audiobooks within the following genres: Gothic Romance, Historical Fiction and Non-fiction.

I'm also a SAG Foundation BookPALS volunteer, narrating to students, K-5, and I curate the monthly booklists for BookPALS nationwide.

I'm able to record and deliver fully produced audio files in my custom-built, in-home studio.
