About Gabriele

Gabriele is also a movie director of short films, one of which (“La ragazza di Rodin”) participated at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes
Film Festival in 2011. He then directed the musical video “Il bel paese degli animali” and his new short film “Beatitudines”. In 2012 Gabriele directed his latest short film “Unconfortable Silence”, presented at sever film festivals, including Oldenburg Film Festival (Germany), Soho Film Festival (New York), Madrid Film Festival, Luisvillle (Kentucky) and at the short film corner in Cannes,Beaufort International Film Festival.
Gabriele is currently working on the docu-film “Chung Kuo” in Cina and on a feature film called “AMERICAN FANGO”.

La ragazza di Rodin (2010)

He is still sentimentally attached to a girl he met at the Rodin Museum many years before. The movie is a dream where Nicole (his model), becomes his consciousness. Antonio makes a proposal: he asks her to stay with him all night in order to try to love her. At the beginning, he talks to her in a distant and cold way but her tenacity will force Antonio to open up. The awareness that the origin of his inability to love is the dream of a love that never existed, will enable Antonio to have feelings for Nicole.
